My favorite part of any tournament the #5 versus the #12 seed match up, always a chance for an upset when these two seeds face off.
The Jacob Bracket has the 5th round draft pick of Dan, Tecmo Super Bowl vs. the 12th round pick of Jeff, Hogan’s Alley. I would vote begrudgingly for Tecmo Super Bowl against my own pick even though I was a bigger fan of the first edition, Tecmo Bowl because that game had Tecmo Bo. The best video game football player of all-time was Bo Jackson in the original where he could run over, around and through any would be tackler.
The fifth round pick, Kirby’s Adventure from Jacob, goes against the 12th round pick, Bases Loaded 2 from Joel, in the Dan Bracket. This is our 5-12 upset as Bases Loaded 2 is the second best baseball video game of the NES era. My only problem with Bases Loaded 2 is that Kansas City’s clean up hitter Hu was actually terrible and never lived up to his stats.
