Leno Bracket 1st Round Comedy MBM

The Leno Bracket is packed with movies I watched over, and over, and over thanks to my friend Mike and his illegal cable box in the 90’s. The headliner is #1 seed Dumb and Dumber and they should have a cake walk to the sweet sixteen. They draw #16 seed Grumpy Old Men in round one and they will be even grumpier after they get slaughtered. Wade and Lloyd will get either #8 Princess Bride or #9 National Lampoon’s Vacation in round two.

A great potential second round match up will happen if #4 Trading Places and #5 Billy Madison advance past oldy but goodies #12 Seed The Jerk and #13 Seed Stir Crazy. I am certainly hoping for Valentine and Winthorpe to advance and get a chance to beat Billy Madison on Dirty Magazine Day.

Adam Sandler has many movies in the Comedy MBM Tournament and #3 seed Happy Gilmore might of drawn the toughest movies. Happy gets #14 seed Ferris Bueller in round one. If Happy survives the second round will be anything but a day off with either #6 Naked Gun or #11 Fletch waiting to pull the upset. I am hoping for good ol’ Enrico Palazzo to keep advancing all the way to the finals. Even if he doesn’t advance I feel he should sing the national anthem before each match up.

Happy Gilmore gets the toughest draw and #2 seed the Bird Cage has the easiest. Robin Williams gets #15 seed UHF in round one. The second round has underrated #7 seed Coming to America or # 10 Seed Christmas Vacation. The chances of Chevy Chase winning the first two Bracket Brother’s Tournaments is not likely but is an interesting story.

Trading Places and Coming to America in the same Bracket. The movies could collide just like in the movie coming to America. Remember this scene when Randolph and Mortimer get their lucky break. They might of even bought their seats back on the exchange after Akeem’s generous donation.
